The S2e Architecture Team
Emma Hyett – Principal Architect
BA (Hons), Grad Dip, PGDip
As our team leader, Emma specialises in navigating the complex world of school estates. She excels at engaging with Trust leads and Headteachers to translate day-to-day operational needs into future-proof designs. A standout example of her approach is the delivery of the Willow Block at St Philip’s School; a highly complex vocational facility built on a very constrained special school site. Emma’s true strength lies in bridging the gap between educational priorities and practical architectural solutions.
Alex Pullen – Architectural Technologist
BSc (Hons), ACIAT
Alex brings a strong focus to the digital design side of our projects, specialising in bringing concepts to life through advanced 3D modelling and detailed technical drawings. Since transitioning from residential housing developments to educational design at S2e, he has become a key asset for high-impact presentations and Lumion rendering. This allows our clients to virtually "walk through" their new spaces long before the first brick is laid.
Bradley Hague – Chartered Architect
MEng (Hons), MArch, PGCert, ARB
With a rare dual-background in both Architecture and Environmental Engineering, Bradley ensures that our designs are as sustainable and energy-efficient as they are functional. He manages projects across all RIBA stages, from initial feasibility to final delivery. His expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and environmental simulations has been instrumental in developing the early-stage feasibility reports used to secure vital government funding for school expansions.
Katlin Kugiyska – Chartered Architect
BA (Hons), MArchD, PGDip
Katlin brings a wealth of expertise spanning feasibility, design, planning, and project delivery. With a strong background managing large-scale masterplans and developments across the Midlands, she supports S2e projects from the earliest concept stages. Katlin thrives in these initial phases, applying strategic creativity to shape the long-term direction, viability, and success of a scheme.
Matthew Eaton – Architectural Technologist
ACIAT, ONC, HNC
With over 30 years of industry experience, Matt brings an unparalleled depth of technical knowledge to the team. Working nationwide, he handles everything from initial building surveys to full construction drawing packages. Matt has lent his three decades of planning and tender expertise to lead significant educational projects, including the Joseph Whitaker Science Block and the Thomas Estley SEN Building.
Paul Wallis – Architectural Technician
FdSc Architectural Technology
The newest addition to the S2e team, Paul brings over 8 years of experience across the residential, commercial, and heritage sectors. His role focuses on supporting projects from concept to completion through technical detailing, planning applications, and consultant coordination. Alongside his academic background from Anglia Ruskin University, Paul’s hands-on site experience gives him practical insight into buildability, making him an incredibly adaptable and collaborative team player.
Rob Adley – Architectural Technologist
ACIAT, HNC
Rob is a technical problem-solver who ensures our designs comply with every complex building regulation and legislative requirement. He bridges the gap between a concept drawing and a buildable reality, specialising in value engineering and high-quality 3D visualisations. Rob has been central to our critical structural safety work, leading vital RAAC remediation and asbestos removal projects at Bedford Modern School and The Littlehampton Academy.
